Video of the first duckling from this batch fully hatching out of the egg. I hope you’re as riveted by this as I was - I’m sure it’s a different experience through a phone or computer screen than it is in person. But still. So magical. Feel free to skip around and ahead. This duckling hatched on day 27, so is technically a day early. Not sure what that means, if anything. So excited. Almost all the eggs are showing little cracks or “pips” indicating the ducks are starting to make their way out within the next 12-48 hours. I’m so grateful I caught this one on camera, I got home from Costco less than 40 min ago! Easily could have missed it. Missed the first ones from our first batch we incubated because they came out overnight while we were sleeping.
